Urgent Problems during Surgery Hours:

If you have an urgent problem during surgery hours (08:00 -18:30) call the surgery on 0161 426 5484. The receptionist will need to take some details about the problem and arrangements will be made for you to be seen by the doctor as soon as possible.

Urgent Problems outside Surgery Hours:

Out of Hours GP care for our patients is provided by NHS 111. For urgent advice and treatment, please call NHS 111 by dialling 111. Calls to 111 are free from both landlines and mobiles. The duty doctor or nurse there will discuss the problem with you and may advise you over the phone, or will either ask you to attend the Mastercall out-of-hours centre or arrange a home visit if appropriate

The surgery is equipped to treat minor injuries like small cuts and joint sprains. If the injury is more severe or may involve a broken bone then you should attend the minor injuries unit at the local Hospital A+E Department.

Also in the event of poisoning or overdose you should attend the local A+E Department.

Children with an emergency that can be dealt with in surgery can be accommodated as flexibly as we can. Please speak to the Receptionist who will help you get your child seen on the same day.
